No interest in the documentary
“I haven’t seen it and I’m not interested in seeing it, honestly,” said Mario Bezares about Witnesses: The Truth Has a Voice, the documentary that exonerates him and Paola Durante of the murder of Paco Stanley, which occurred on June 7, 1999.
For the actor, the appearance of this type of material on the eve of the death anniversary is no longer a surprise. He pointed out that various theories and conspiracies arise that fail to clarify the facts.
The documentary presents testimonies from witnesses protected in the United States. According to them, it was Carlos Acevedo, alias “El Pato”, a former agent of the defunct Federal Security Directorate, who shot Stanley.
Bezares, who spent a year and a half in prison accused of having distracted the driver, asked that if the evidence is compelling, it be presented to the Prosecutor’s Office. “We have been saying that for 27 years,” he added.
Currently, the host and YouTuber is enjoying success after his triumph in The House of the Famous Mexico. He stated that this chapter of his life is closed and he has no interest in reliving it.
