Belinda reveals her character in Toy Story 5
The singer and actress confirmed that she is part of the fifth installment of the successful Disney-Pixar animated franchise. In a post he shared from the Pixar studios in San Francisco, California, he showed his enthusiasm alongside actors Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, who lend their voices to Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Her character is called Lilypad, an iPad with a frog-shaped case, which is integrated into the universe of toys. “I really wanted to tell you this surprise, I’m going to do the voice of Lilypad in ‘Toy Story 5’,” he wrote in the image that he later deleted.
Dubbing career
It is not the first time that Belinda participates in animation projects. Previously he lent his voice to films such as The Tale of Despereaux, The Adventures of Tadeo Jones and Trolls. However, this collaboration has a special meaning: “I have always felt a very special connection with dubbing and being able to do it alongside talented people is a dream come true,” he noted in the same publication.
He also shared a short video inside the Pixar facility. Although he deleted the publication an hour later, the captures are already circulating on networks. So far it has not been clarified whether he will dub Lilypad in both English and Spanish, something that Bad Bunny will do in the same film with his character “Pizza with sunglasses.”
The fifth part of Toy Story continues to expand its cast with new characters, and the inclusion of Belinda reinforces Pixar’s growing interest in adding Latin talent to its productions.
