Taylor Swift put an end to weeks of rumors. The singer confirmed that she will participate in the soundtrack of Toy Story 5 with an original song.
The news came through social networks. Swift wrote:
You guessed it! My new song, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’, for ‘Toy Story 5’ will be yours on June 5.
He will not voice any character. His contribution is musical.
A song born from emotion
Swift explained that being part of the saga is a childhood dream. “I’ve always dreamed of being able to write for these characters that I’ve adored since I was five years old and saw the first movie,” he shared.
The artist had access to an early version of the film. That experience inspired her immediately. “I instantly fell in love with ‘Toy Story 5’ when I had the opportunity to see it in its early stages of development, and I wrote this song as soon as I returned home from the screening,” he explained.
Bad Bunny also joins in
In addition to Swift, Bad Bunny will lend his voice to a new toy. The reggaeton player will give life to a fun character, aligned with his personality.
Toy Story 5 will hit theaters on June 18. The plot addresses the era of electronic devices in children.
