Andrea Legarreta said goodbye to her low profile. The host of Hoy no longer hides her relationship with coach Luis Carlos Origel, who is 21 years younger than her. After three years of separation from Erik Rubín, her husband of more than two decades, Andrea is in a new stage and she wants everyone to know it.

The spark jumped in the middle of the Televisa set. During a dynamic in the morning, Andrea’s colleagues made jokes about the obvious chemistry between her and Luis Carlos, Pepillo Origel’s nephew. Right there, Legarreta confirmed the rumor: yes, they are a couple.

She clarified that both her daughters, Mía and Nina, and her ex-partner Erik, were aware and that Luis Carlos is already an old friend of the family who now lives with everyone.

Family support is key
It seems that the path to this new happiness was not immediate. Legarreta confessed that it was difficult for him to cheer up after the breakup with Rubín, but that “something happened” to make the leap.
The most important thing: he has the approval at home. Her daughters have declared to the press that they are happy with their mother’s partner and support her in her decisions. A support that, without a doubt, takes weight away from any external view.
