Night of large groups in Texas
On Saturday, June 27, the stage of Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas witnessed a memorable day of regional Mexican music. Banda El Recodo, Banda Los Recoditos and Banda Machos headlined the 90’s Banda Tour, offering four hours of uninterrupted performance.
The concert began at 8:00 p.m. and lasted until after midnight. The three groups shared the same stage, each with their characteristic style within the Sinaloa band genre. Banda El Recodo, known as “The Mother of All Bands”, and Banda Machos, nicknamed “The Queen of Bands”, together with Los Recoditos – also with a consolidated career – achieved a festive atmosphere that kept the public singing and dancing.
Repertoire of classics
Banda El Recodo performed songs such as Acábame de Matar, Hasta donde, La Crazy Loca, Hola Mi Amor, Le Pido a Dios, Ya Te Olvidé and Mi Gusto Es. For their part, Los Recoditos presented Mi Último Beso, No Le Hago Falta, Perfecta, Me Tocó Perder, Un Solo Cielo and Orgullosa y Bonita, among others. Banda Machos got everyone dancing with Leña de Pirul, La Culebra, Machos, Historia Sin Fin and Un Indio Quiero Llorar.
The call brought together thousands of followers from Reynosa and the Texas Valley. As a special detail, members of Banda Los Recoditos came off the stage to mingle closely with their fans, which allowed for selfies and applause from the audience present.
