But how did everything come to this tragic outcome? The answer is a chilling tale of broken dreams and fatal mistakes.

The Procedure that Became a Nightmare

Jaqueline, full of hopes, had even sold her own car to pay for her transformation. He entrusted his life to the hands of professionals in a clinic at the Specialist Medical Building in Monterrey. But what promised to be a rebirth turned into a scene of terror. In the middle of liposculpture surgery, something went horribly wrong.

Panicked doctors tried to save her when devastating complications arose. She was rushed to the University Hospital, but it was too late. The forensic report revealed the horrifying truth: his lung and liver had been punctured. Negligence? Incompetence? The authorities raided the place, searching for answers among the remains of a shattered dream.

The Mystery of the Divine Touch Financial Company

Among the rubble of this tragedy, a disturbing fact emerged: Jaqueline had sold everything to enter the batches of Financiera Toque Divino, where she was listed as client 973. Was it desperation to fulfill your dream that led you to take risks? The investigation not only looks for medical culprits, but also the shadows behind a system that promises miracles in exchange for money.

An End That Should Not Be in Vain

While Jaqueline’s body rests in peace, her story lives on, crying out for justice. His family, devastated, demands that no one else suffer this ordeal. Social networks are burning with indignation, and the questions are multiplying: Who watches these beauty centers? How many more lives will be lost before something changes?

Fighting extortion in Michoacán is a priority: García Harfuch

The Secretary of Security reports results of the Michoacán Plan and reinforces the fight against extortion.

Results against extortion in Michoacán

Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), stated that extortion is a central objective of Claudia Sheinbaum’s government. In a conference from Morelia, Michoacán, he detailed the actions of the Michoacán Plan for Peace and Justice.

In the last month, 16 operations were carried out. The authorities seized 246 explosive devices, machine guns, 39 long weapons and more than 17 thousand cartridges. García Harfuch stressed that these results do not mean that the task is completed, but rather that the efforts are reinforced.

“The instruction of the president of Mexico is clear: maintain the presence of the Security Cabinet in Michoacán; strengthen the units of local authorities with greater intelligence and investigation capabilities to combat, among other crimes, mainly the crime of extortion; sustain focused operations with cabinet and field work; attention to complaints, and the strengthening of 089 to continue promoting complaints.”

Since the beginning of the current government, 1,300 people have been arrested for high-impact crimes. They have also seized 1,400 firearms, 35 tons of drugs and dismantled 30 clandestine laboratories for the production of methamphetamines. The secretary assured that these actions affect the logistical capacity of criminal groups that operate in the entity to extort.

The official reiterated the presidential instruction to redouble efforts. “Fighting extortion in Michoacán is a priority for the president of Mexico, therefore, the institutions of the federal Security Cabinet maintain close and permanent coordination with the government of Michoacán with the aim of stopping those who generate violence, protect citizens and guarantee that there is no impunity,” he concluded.

Sheinbaum rules out political motivation in the arrest of Lozoya’s sister

Sheinbaum assures that there is evidence against Emilio Lozoya's sister in the Agronitrogenados fraud.

President Claudia Sheinbaum rejected that the arrest of Gilda Susana Lozoya Austin, sister of former Pemex director Emilio Lozoya, has a political background. The president stated that the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) has evidence of her participation in the Agronitrogenados fraud.

Sheinbaum: “It has nothing to do with a political issue”

In a conference from Morelia, Michoacán, Sheinbaum explained that she was informed of the arrest by prosecutor Ernestina Godoy until after it occurred. He said that the security cabinet received details about the alleged responsibilities of the detainee and her connection to the fraud.

“What the prosecutor informed us is that there is evidence of her participation in the Agronitrogenados fraud. It has nothing to do with a political matter,” declared the president.

Lozoya’s sister accuses political pressure

A day before, after her arrest at the Mexico City International Airport upon returning from Europe, Gilda Susana Lozoya intervened in her initial hearing. Before Judge Nora Ileana García Peralta, he indicated that his family is being used to pressure his brother.

“I believe that this is a political case, where my mother, my sister-in-law and I, that is, the women in my family, have been used to pressure my brother,” he stated.

The arrest occurs within the framework of the Agronitrogenados case, which involves Emilio Lozoya. The FGR continues with the investigations.

Michoacán: 10 thousand soldiers deploy operations against mines and extortion

10 thousand soldiers in Michoacán seek to defuse explosives and stop extortion.

The Secretary of National Defense, Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, reported that as part of the Michoacán Plan for Peace and Justice, 10 thousand elements of the Army and the National Guard remain deployed in the entity. They have three Air Force helicopters, a cargo aircraft, drones and specialized technological equipment to locate explosive devices.

“The purpose is to create security conditions so that the population can carry out their activities with peace of mind,” explained Trevilla. The operation also protects works contemplated in the plan, in coordination with federal and state authorities.

This week, a lemon farmer lost a foot after an improvised mine exploded that threw his truck several meters. The case revived the debate about the use of explosives by criminal groups.

President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that, although homicides and other crimes have decreased in Michoacán, the instruction to the Security Cabinet is to focus on combating extortion.

“The instruction that the cabinet has, in coordination with the state government, is to eradicate extortion in Michoacán,” said Sheinbaum.

Since last November, the Armed Forces have located 625 improvised explosive devices, including mines and devices launched by drones. Specialized personnel carry out demining operations on routes in El Guayabo, El Alcalde and Apatzingán. The military industry develops anti-mine vehicles and analyzes acquiring detector drones.

Trevilla attributed the placement of mines to the territorial dispute between criminal groups.

“This is the product of a confrontation between two groups. The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) wants to enter Tepalcatepec, Coalcomán and is already closer to Apatzingán. The local groups protect those areas and that is why they place the mines,” he explained.
