Vigil in honor of photographers who died in Ceremony
Family, friends and colleagues gathered on Sunday in an emotional tribute to remember photographers Berenice Giles and Miguel Hernández, fatalities after the collapse of a structure during coverage of the Ceremonia festival in Mexico City. Protest against safety failures and working conditions

The authorities suspended the second day of the festival and began an investigation.
Details about the deceased and sectoral claims
Giles and Hernández, under 30 years old, collaborated with the media mr. indieunder freelance mode. The organization Frontline Freelance México criticized the exploitation of young professionals in events without guarantees: “Media and promoters benefit from the enthusiasm of new generations, exposing them to unacceptable risks”. They demanded a transparent investigation and compensation for the families.
Shocking testimonies
