A reminder about the dangers of driving while fatigued
This morning, the tranquility of San Nicolás was interrupted by an accident that could have been avoided. Three workers, after a long day, suffered injuries when their truck crashed into a fence. The cause? A simple but dangerous dozing behind the wheel.

The accident occurred around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of De la Acequia Street and Miguel Alemán Avenue. Witnesses reported that the Toyota Avanza van left the road and collided with a sheet structure. Upon arrival, Traffic elements found the three occupants in pain but conscious.
The speed of the emergency teams made the difference!Paramedics from the local Civil Protection acted quickly, stabilizing the injured and transferring them to a nearby medical center. Fortunately, the injured – identified as Justino Vázquez (41), Francisco Robles (38) and Leopoldo Campos (20, the driver) – confirmed that it was only a moment of fatigue that triggered the crash.
