Successful operation frees minor in Morelos
Agents from the High Impact Crime Investigation Prosecutor’s Office (FIDAI) recovered a five-year-old boy alive, who was deprived of his liberty last Wednesday in Cuautla, Morelos. According to the investigations, the criminal group responsible sought to force the handover of the minor’s father as a condition for his release.
Details of the operation
Through intelligence and tracking techniques, the authorities located the infantryman in Tenango, Jantetelco, where a tactical deployment was carried out at dawn. The procedure culminated in the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of the minor in stable conditions. The FIDAI analyzes possible links with a similar crime registered in the State of Mexico, where the outcome was fatal.
The State Attorney General’s Office highlighted that the detainees were placed at the disposal of the specialized Public Ministry, while the operational structure of the criminal organization involved is delved into. This case shows the modality of express kidnappings used by criminal groups to coerce relatives of their targets.
Inter-institutional coordination
The FGE of Morelos emphasized that the success of the rescue reflects the strategic collaboration with the State Coordination Board for the Construction of Peace. This alliance has made it possible to optimize immediate response protocols in high-risk cases, combining technological resources and field work.
Security experts emphasize that this operation sets a precedent against impunity in crimes of social impact, although they warn about the need to reinforce preventive measures in areas with the presence of criminal cells. Official data reveal that Morelos registered 14 cases of child abduction in the last 18 months, with 78% of favorable resolutions.
