The Devil Wears Prada 2 reveals its first trailer

Miranda Priestly returns with her deadly lines and heels that are sharper than ever. Get ready for the fashion chaos of the year.

The fashion return that no one asked for but we all need

It seems that Hollywood has run out of original ideas, so they decided to unearth one of the most glorious icons of the 2000s. Yes, Miranda Priestly is back, and her red heels are still sharper than a fashion editor’s criticism. The first viewing of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” has just landed on our screens, and it’s exactly the dose of superficial drama we needed.

The teaser, which already has the entire internet hyperventilating, couldn’t have a better soundtrack: the timeless anthem “Vogue” by Madonna, because, obviously, nothing says “I’m relevant in 2026” like a song from the ’90s. The song that once celebrated film legends now accompanies the return of this dynamic duo from the world of fashion. It’s the perfect combination of nostalgia and pure camp.

RelatedDeath is dressed in fame on the altars

An encounter in the elevator to die for (from anxiety)

The most anticipated moment comes at the end of the trailer, when Miranda and Andy cross paths in an elevator. The ultimate boss says, “It’s about time,” with the same energy as when you get a text from your ex at 2 a.m.: loaded with history, a bit of resentment, and the promise of imminent chaos. That single sentence instantly transports us back to 2006, when sacrificing your personal life for a pair of Manolos seemed like a perfectly reasonable career choice.

The original film became a cultural phenomenon not only for the incredible outfits, but for portraying the cost of success in a toxic environment dominated by powerful women who had to be tougher than steel. Now, this sequel promises to take us back to the sophisticated but deadly offices of Runway magazine and the streets of New York, because apparently the subway is still the perfect place for a montage-worthy wardrobe change.

The original cast, including queens Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, return, along with other favorites like Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. New faces like Simone Ashley join the party, because every self-respecting fashion editorial needs new blood to terrorize. Under the direction of David Frankel and the script by Aline Brosh McKenna, it seems that we are facing a sequel that could, just could, justify its existence.

The wait will be long, so prepare your best outfit. “The Devil Wears Prada 2” will hit Mexican movie theaters on April 30, 2026, one day before in the United States, which means we will have material to spoil for our friends in the north. Mark your calendars, fashion hell is about to begin again.

Aylín Mujica talks about the loss of her son Mauro Menéndez

Aylín Mujica reveals details of her son's death and clarifies speculations surrounding his departure

In an exclusive interview with the Telemundo program La Mesa Caliente, the Cuban actress and host Aylín Mujica broke the silence about the death of her first-born, Mauro Menéndez, which occurred on July 17. Mujica explained that she decided to speak out earlier than planned to stop the rumors and send a message of strength to other mothers facing a similar situation.

“I was not ready to give an interview but, if it is with you (Verónica Bastos), she is not going to do an interview, she is going to tell, clarify, narrate, give strength to all the mothers who have gone through this.”

The events prior to death

Mujica said that while recording the new season of Top Chef VIP in Colombia, his son Mauro traveled to Miami to visit his grandmother and his younger brothers. There he developed a bad cold that he did not want to treat. His uncle took him to the emergency room, but Mauro refused to go in and opted to take his flight to Barbados, where he had a DJ commitment.

The actress tried to dissuade him over the phone. He told her that he was already at the airport, in a wheelchair, but that he had to leave. The next day, Mauro contacted her to inform her that he had gone to the hospital in Barbados, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics. He felt good, in his own words: “they already gave me antibiotics, I feel 100%.” That was 24 hours before his death.

Critical hours

In the afternoon, Mujica tried to communicate with his son without success. At 10 p.m., a friend of Mauro responded: he had suffered three seizures while playing soccer. The ambulance arrived late and he was intubated. The doctors revived him seven times, but his heart couldn’t resist.

“The doctor told me that they found a clot in his lung, a clot in his heart.”

Mujica clarified that he did not speak with his son while he was being transferred, as was reported in other media. He could only say a few words to him when he was already unconscious. After receiving the news, he immediately traveled to Barbados.

The actress asked for respect and asked people to stop spreading false information about what happened.
