One week before the start of the 2026 World Cup, the qualified teams play their last preparation matches. The tournament will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Several teams have already arrived at their base camps to acclimatize.
Spain hosts Iraq this Thursday, June 4, at the Abanca-Riazor Stadium in La Coruña. The match is scheduled at 1:10 p.m. (central Mexico) and will be broadcast on Sky Sports. A large attendance is expected to say goodbye to La Roja, considered one of the favorites for the title.
France faces Ivory Coast in Nantes. The duel will also be broadcast on Sky Sports. Both teams will be present in the World Cup.
After these meetings, Spain will travel to the United States. His World Cup debut will be in Atlanta against Cape Verde. Before, they will play a friendly against Peru at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla.
Friendlies represent the last opportunity for coaches to fine-tune tactical details and evaluate their players before the official competition.
