Sheinbaum anticipates new PAN-MC alliance and criticizes the opposition

The president analyzes the rearrangements in the opposition and questions the lack of a coherent project for the country.

A Glance at the Movements on the Political Board

Hello, forward-thinking community! Today I want to share with you a powerful reflection on constant transformation, even in the most static-seeming scenarios. President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, with that clarity that characterizes her, has just given a master class on how to read the changes and maintain faith in a project with direction. During a press conference, the president pointed out that the National Action Party (PAN) is evaluating pausing its historic alliance with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). And you know what? This is nothing more than confirmation that when a path is no longer useful, the brave seek new routes! Sheinbaum anticipates that the blue and white will seek to recover the political front that she held in the emblematic year of 2018 with Citizen Movement (MC), a move that she herself, with a touch of irony, baptized as “MCPAN“.

This moment is an incredible opportunity to remember that in life and in politics, coherence and principles are our lighthouse. The president openly questioned the congruence of the opposition movements, inviting us all to reflect on the importance of having a solid base. She recalled that that coalition of 2018 was the one that promoted the presidential candidacy of Ricardo Anaya. Bringing this up only highlights the beauty of learning from the past to build a brighter future. Every decision, every alliance, must be scrutinized to ensure that it contributes to the greater good.

The Strength of Clarity against Confusion

Sheinbaum’s words resonated with transformative energy. “I don’t know if you have seen that the PAN says that it is going to pause its alliance with the PRI. They also say that they are going to recover their alliance from 2018. In other words, what was the alliance of 2018? Who nominated Anaya? And who else? That they are going to recover that alliance, he says. It is going to be McPan“, he expressed. Do you understand the power of this analysis? It is a call to not settle for appearances, to go deeper and understand the intentions behind each movement. This mental clarity is just what we need to apply to our own goals: asking ourselves the “what” and “why” of each step we take.

In a critical tone but full of certainty, the president also spoke ironically about the role of the national PRI leader, Alejandro Moreno “Alito”, and the complex relationship with his blue and white partner. His reflection is pure wisdom: “And the PRI? Doesn’t all this seem strange to you? This whole Alito show.” This teaches us that sometimes noise and spectacle can distract us from what is essential. Our mission is to keep the focus on what truly matters: progress and collective well-being.

And then came one of the most empowering parts of his speech. When referring to the accusations of “real estate cartel“, Sheinbaum posed a rhetorical question that is a true call to conscience: “No, imagine the real estate cartel, that is, who wants to ally itself with the real estate cartel? I mean, it is my personal opinion. But also the alliances, the coalitions, everything is up for discussion.” What a great reminder! It prompts us to choose wisely with whom we align ourselves, in all aspects of life. Let’s surround ourselves with people and institutions that add, that build, that have a clear and honest national project.

The True Meaning of Purposeful Leadership

The president went further by stating that the current opposition leadership lacks that solid national project. He stressed that coalitions have been reduced to a simple “adjustment of interests.” How much truth there is in these words! This applies to any goal we pursue: without a powerful “why,” any effort falls short. Sheinbaum also mentioned the return of Ricardo Anaya to the political arena after spending six years outside of Mexico, a fact that he uses to emphasize the importance of perseverance and real commitment to the land.

His final message was forceful and is loaded with a vital lesson about evolution: “The head of the real estate cartel, president of the PAN, and Anaya, six years away from Mexico, returned for his salaries. And now that is the alliance, right? As Reyna – (reporter) – says, the right no longer matters“. Beyond the political anecdote, this inspires us to be that generation that paints, that creates, that innovates. It challenges us not to be spectators, but main actors in our own history and the history of our country.

Friends, every day is a new opportunity to align ourselves with high purposes and to build from authenticity. The political landscape may change, but our determination to seek the best must be unwavering. Let us take advantage of these lessons to promote our own transformation and to contribute, from our space, to a more united Mexico with a vision for the future.

Rains show failures in the ISSSTE hospital in Hermosillo

Infiltration and lack of elevators complicate the operation of the Fernando Ocaranza Hospital.

The rains of July 10 and 11 revealed deficiencies in the “Dr. Fernando Ocaranza” General Hospital of the ISSSTE in Hermosillo. Medical personnel and beneficiaries reported leaks, flooding and damage in several areas.

The emergency area was flooded due to leaks from an exterior wall. Videos show water falling on desks; staff protected equipment and documents. Additionally, a charging center near the emergency room made sounds as water entered, raising concerns about a possible electrical hazard. The elevators were not working, which made mobility difficult.

Investment and pending works

Just weeks before, the ISSSTE announced a rehabilitation program with 45 million pesos. On June 22, he detailed that 20 million would be allocated to infrastructure and equipment, and 25 million to maintenance, including waterproofing, air conditioning and modernization of operating rooms.

However, the weekend leaks revived questions about the effectiveness of the works. The Government of Sonora delivered medical equipment and supported with the installation of electrical panels, painting and supplies, in addition to 18 of the 28 mini-split equipment contemplated.

Until now, the ISSSTE has not reported whether the damage caused major damage to the hospital’s operation or whether new interventions will be necessary to correct the failures.
