Shakira confuses whether she will sing at the beginning or at halftime of the 2026 World Cup final.

Shakira and her mistakes before the 2026 World Cup final

The Colombian singer Shakira revealed that she is still not clear about all the details of her performance at the 2026 World Cup final. In an interview with the English media “Capital FM”, the artist was questioned about the exact moment of her performance, scheduled for Sunday, July 19 at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.

Initially, Shakira stated that she would appear before the start of the match, as occurred at the opening of the tournament. However, her assistant Diana corrected her at that moment: her participation will be during halftime.

“Well, I don’t know if it will be at the beginning or at half time, it will be when it starts,” she said while looking for confirmation from Diana, who got her out of the mistake.

“Will it be at halftime? Oh, it will be during halftime! Oh God…” said the Barranquilla native, visibly embarrassed. He then acknowledged that he should verify his data before sharing it.

An unexpected call in the middle of the interview

In another interview, this time with the Spanish program “La Revuelta”, Shakira experienced an uncomfortable moment when receiving a call while speaking with host David Broncano. The singer worried that the recipient would appear on her screen, unaware that her assistant Diana was crawling to help her divert the call.

“You can’t see who’s calling me, right? He hung up, already, I hung up twice, persistent,” he said without realizing that Broncano and the public had already noticed Diana’s presence.

When the assistant crouched in front of the screen again, Shakira did not hide her embarrassment: “She’s my assistant, she was trying to hang up the call, I see her walking on all fours.” Diana finally approached the screen and waved, and Shakira joked that they had a similar look, referring to her as her “little sister.”

Rain of criticism against Pedro Sola for comments against dogs

Colleagues and celebrities condemn Pedro Sola's statements about poisoning dogs in public spaces.

About his dogs Tom and Jerry, he wrote:

“Me iba a traer a Tom y a Jerry pero no me los vayan a envenenar mejor los dejé guardados no vaya a ser el diablo”.

Pepillo había expresado antes el cariño que siente por sus mascotas: “No hay nada más hermoso que tener en tu casa unos compañeros que te cuidan… es amor de verdad”.

Other voices in the controversy

Famosos como Mauricio Martínez, Carlos Bonavides, Yordi Rosado, Aracely Arámbula, Apio Quijano y Marcos Valdés también reprobaron los dichos de Sola. Mauricio Martínez pointed out on networks:

Ernesto Laguardia: from soap opera heartthrob to inhabitant of ‘The House of the Famous’

The 'Quinceañera' actor joins the reality show with a strategy based on values.

Ernesto Laguardia has arrived in the fourth season of The House of the Famous Mexico. But before exposing himself to the public eye 24/7, he had already forged a solid career on Mexican television.

From commercials to youthful heartthrob

Laguardia debuted as a child model and then entered the Center for Artistic Education (CEA) of Televisa. His first acting role was in La Fiera, alongside Victoria Ruffo. A year later he ventured into film with Dune, by David Lynch.

The big leap came at the end of the eighties. He played Pancho in Quinceañera, alongside Adela Noriega. The character, a young mechanic, made him the idol of a generation. The soap opera crossed borders and consolidated it as one of the television station’s promises.

Multifaceted career

Then came titles like Alondra, Poor Relatives, Amor Real and Corona de ojos, where he played Don Rómulo Ancira, his first villain. He also found success as a host: almost a decade on Hoy and at the head of Código F.A.M.A., which allowed him to connect with new generations.

Now, Laguardia faces a different challenge. In The House of the Famous, he will appear more vulnerable, something that contrasts with his usual secrecy.

“My strategy is to enter with an education, with my values, with my limits. I know how to speak crudely, rudely perhaps, but I know how far,” he declared to EL UNIVERSAL.

The reality show marks his return to Televisa, after having emigrated to Azteca in 2017. With more than three decades of career, the actor shows that he still has something new to offer.
