Salma Hayek and Linda Evangelista celebrate the graduation of Pinault’s son together

Two exes and a tycoon: the portrait of a "happy" postmodern family in full celebration.

When life gives you lemons (and a millionaire ex-husband), take a photo for Instagram

Ah, the modern family. That elastic concept that can stretch to include your ex, your ex’s new wife, your ex’s son with his ex, and a Vanity Fair photographer waiting for someone to pull out a knife. This weekend, Salma Hayek and Linda Evangelista—the current and former wives of tycoon François-Henri Pinault—showed the world that they have either achieved Buddhist levels of detachment or simply hired a very good family therapist.

The most Instagrammable graduation in history

The setting: the graduation ceremony of Augustin Evangelista Pinault, the son of Linda and François-Henri. The curious detail? Salma Hayek, the current Mrs. Pinault, posted on her Instagram some photos so idyllic that they even made us question whether we are failing in our own family relationships. “I’m a proud mom,” wrote Linda (yes, the ex), as if celebrating your ex-husband’s son with his new wife was the most normal thing in the world. Or could it be that the support check includes mandatory smile clauses?

But Salma was not far behind. The next day, he shared his own tribute to “Augie” (a nickname that, let’s face it, sounds more like a lapdog than a millionaire teenager): “We are so proud of you…”, he wrote, along with an image where everyone poses as if they were in a “How to Survive a Divorce with Class” catalogue. That, or they were just celebrating that Augie will finally stop spending the family fortune on video games.

The most ironic thing of all is that, while the rest of the world is fighting over custody of a cat, these three people—a mogul, a supermodel and an actress—have achieved the impossible: a smile in sync. Will it be the money? Fame? Or simply the fear of a paparazzi capturing their scowl? Who knows. The truth is, if this is the “modern family”, maybe we should take notes… or at least save our therapists’ bills.

ENHYPEN arrives in Mexico with three concerts at Arena CDMX

Three concerts at the CDMX Arena mark ENHYPEN's debut on Mexican soil.

ENHYPEN plays for the first time in Mexico

The K-pop fever doesn’t stop. ENHYPEN, the South Korean group that emerged from the reality show “I-LAND”, will make its debut in Mexico with three concerts at the CDMX Arena. The dates are on July 11, 12 and 14, plus a special presentation on the 15th with the band Santos Bravo.

The group was formed in 2020, when seven young people competed in the Mnet survival program. Its name alludes to the script that connects words, symbolizing the union of different personalities that grow together. The group is made up of Jungwon (leader), Heeseung (main vocalist), Jay (originally from the United States), Jake (Australian), Sunghoon (former figure skater), Sunoo (stage charisma) and Ni-ki (Japanese dancer, the youngest).

What distinguishes ENHYPEN is its narrative concept: a story inspired by vampires, fantastic worlds and the transition from adolescence to adulthood. His videos and presentations build a universe that has captivated millions.

Like any great K-pop group, ENHYPEN has a loyal fan base: the Engene, a name that combines “engine” and “gene.” The idea is that they drive the growth of the band and share a unique bond.

Since its debut on November 30, 2020, ENHYPEN has racked up millions of sales and sold-out dates around the world. His arrival in Mexico has generated enormous expectations. Tickets for the three concerts at the CDMX Arena are still available at Superboletos.

HotSpanish loses control of its TikTok account with 40 million followers

HotSpanish lost access to its TikTok account with 40 million followers after posting a video.

Mexican content creator Roberto González Manzo, 37, known as HotSpanish, reported on Instagram that he lost access to his TikTok account, which has almost 40 million followers.

What happened to your account?

As reported this Wednesday, the page is still active with all the videos, but without a profile photo or username. The incident occurred minutes after publishing a video announcing the second season of his digital reality show “La Mansión VIP”, broadcast on YouTube.

“Yesterday I uploaded a video, which apparently a company didn’t like,” Roberto revealed on social networks.

The creator explained that he has already contacted platform workers to regain control and ruled out that it is an advertising strategy. The video where he reported the situation exceeded one million views on TikTok.

Indirects to “The House of the Famous”

In the video prior to the loss of access, HotSpanish launched an alleged hint at the Televisa program “La Casa de los Famosos México.” It showed a creative team looking for ideas for his format, including dynamics he had already implemented.

“When ‘La Mansión’ was there, they came out to speak badly about me and my format. They said it wasn’t useful… but now I find out that there was a meeting to gather ideas,” he declared on Facebook.

The creator denied rumors about sabotage to the revelation of Karina Torres as an inhabitant of the Televisa reality show: “I am not a person who plays dirty,” he stated.

Second season on the way

“The VIP Mansion” second season will arrive on YouTube in November. “We are going to return better than ever,” González said on Instagram. The first edition ended in May with the businesswoman and influencer Sol León as the winner, who obtained a prize of 2 million pesos.

For its part, “La Casa de los Famosos” continues to reveal participants for its fourth season, which will premiere on July 26 on Las Estrellas. So far the confirmed ones are Ernesto Laguardia, Karina Torres and Ximena Herrera.

Latinos sweep nominations for the 2026 Emmy Awards

Latinos shine at the 2026 Emmys with Oscar Isaac, Bad Bunny and the Colombian Carlos Vesga.

The United States Television Academy announced the nominees for the 78th edition of the Emmy Awards, which will be presented on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The list highlights a strong Latin presence, led by the Guatemalan-American actor Oscar Isaac, the Colombian Carlos Manuel Vesga and the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny.

Latinos who shine in the Emmy race

Oscar Isaac competes for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Anthology Series for his work in the second season of “Beef” (Netflix). The production is also nominated for Best Miniseries. Born in Guatemala, Isaac adds this recognition to his filmography that includes “Ex Machina”, “Dune”, “Moon Knight” and the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

Carlos Manuel Vesga surprised by obtaining a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for “Pluribus”, the new science fiction series on Apple TV+. The plot takes place in a world where almost all of humanity has integrated into an extraterrestrial hive mind. Vesga plays Manousos Oviedo, a character who opened international doors for him after a consolidated career in Colombia with projects such as “Amor Sincere” and “La Prepago.”

Bad Bunny also made history. The Super Bowl halftime show in which she starred received nine nominations, the most for a show of that type in Emmy history, surpassing Lady Gaga’s record in 2017. The variety specials category thus recognized her performance.

Colman Domingo, of Belizean and Guatemalan descent, adds his name to the list. He is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for “The Four Seasons,” a Netflix series created by Tina Fey. This recognition comes after his recent Oscar nominations, reaffirming his great professional moment.
