The biological prioritizes vulnerable groups: children from 6 to 59 months, adults over 60 years of age, pregnant women and people with chronic diseases such as diabetes or obesity. It is applied in IMSS, ISSSTE facilities and modules of the Ministry of Health. Citizens can locate the nearest center through the official government platform.

Everyday hygiene, an indispensable ally

Beyond the vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends routines that stop transmission at home and at work. Key actions:

  • Frequent hand washing with soap and water or antibacterial gel.
  • Etiquette sneeze: cover nose and mouth with the inner angle of the elbow.
  • Ventilate closed spaces and allow sunlight to enter.

Symptoms: do not self-medicate
