Mr. Worldwide has a plan for history
Pitbull, the guy who taught us that life is a party, now wants that party to go into the record books. And not with just anything: the Cuban-American launched a call to bring together as many people wearing false bald heads in the same place. Yes, you read that right.
The idea arose from a trend among his most dedicated followers, who in their shows began to imitate his characteristic aesthetic: suit, dark glasses, beard… and that shiny head. The fans gave him a name: The Bald E’s.
“It’s official. Let’s make history”,
the artist wrote on Instagram, jumping on the bandwagon of a proposal that was originally made by BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James. Pitbull, always ready for a good time, did not hesitate to support her.
The details of the ‘hair challenge’
To be certified by Guinness World Records, there are clear rules: the fake bald head must cover the front and top of the head, and all participants must remain together in a designated area for at least one full minute.
The event will be on July 10, 2026 at the BST Hyde Park festival in London, where Kesha will also be on the lineup. More than a concert, it promises to be a visual phenomenon.
Fans are already reacting with that mix of enthusiasm and absurd humor that defines the internet. “This is not a drill. They ask us for bald heads immediately,” they say between laughs and plans to get their most convincing wig.
In the end, Pitbull has achieved what he does best: transforming a visual connection with his audience into a global celebration. From what started as a gesture of admiration at his concerts to a challenge that could have thousands of people looking like him for a historic minute.
In an industry where everything is measured in streams and likes, he proposes measuring success in fake skinheads. And you know what? It makes all the sense in the non-sense world.
