Mr. Worldwide has a plan for history
Pitbull, the guy who made us dance from ‘I Know You Want Me’ to ‘Timber’, now wants us to go… bald. Yes, you read that right. The artist launched a surreal call to break a Guinness Record in his next show.
The goal is simple, but visually incredible: gather as many people wearing bald wigs in one place. All during their concert at the BST Hyde Park festival in London, on July 10, 2026.
“It’s official. Let’s make history,” he wrote on Instagram.
The idea was born from a joke among his most dedicated followers, the self-proclaimed ‘The Bald E’s’. In his shows, many imitate his signature look: suit, dark glasses and that shiny head. A BBC Radio 1 host, Greg James, challenged him to make it official and Pitbull loved it.
For the record to count, the rules are clear. The false bald head should cover the front and top of the head well. And the entire group must stay together in a designated area for at least one full minute. It sounds easy, until you imagine thousands of people coordinating that.
Fans are already in mission mode. The message circulates on networks: “This is not a drill. They ask us for bald heads immediately”. Kesha will also be in the festival line-up, so it promises to be an epic day.
In the end, more than an absurd record, this reflects Pitbull’s unique connection with his audience. He transformed a visual gesture from his fans into a global challenge with a party flavor. Only he could achieve it.
