Bernardo Bosch Hernández, father of beauty queen Fátima Bosch, has issued a formal statement to counter public accusations that link him with alleged favored treatment towards Raúl Rocha, owner of the Miss Universe organization. The controversy suggests that, from his position at Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), he would have facilitated the awarding of at least one contract to the businessman. In his letter, Bosch Hernández emphasizes his extensive professional career, which spans thirty-five years, of which twenty-seven have passed within the state oil company.
The manager specified that, between 2018 and 2025, he served as coordinator in the Pemex Exploration and Production Directorate.
