Operation “National Security Strategy” has been forceful. More than 35,000 arrests for high-impact crimes, the seizure of more than 18,000 firearms and the seizure of 288 tons of drugs, including a critical blow to fentanyl with 4 million pills seized. In addition, the dismantling of 1,597 methamphetamine laboratories in 22 states cuts in the bud one of the sources of financing for crime. The policy of zero tolerance for corruption and the fight against hydrocarbon theft has made it possible to secure more than 98 million liters and close almost 2,000 clandestine intakes.
