Velasco’s attendance in the Senate reaches 97%
Senator Manuel Velasco Coello, coordinator of the PVEM, stood out among the legislators with the greatest attendance during the first two years of the current Legislature. According to data from the Secretariat of Parliamentary Services, he participated in 147 of the 151 ordinary and extraordinary sessions held since September 2024.
Their attendance percentage was 97.35%. The four registered absences were justified before the Board of Directors, which represents 2.65% of the total.
Velasco is thus located within the group of senators with the greatest presence in parliamentary work. The legislator has indicated that attendance and participation in the Senate are part of his responsibilities as a popular representative, considering that legislative activity requires continuity in national debates and decisions.
