“Papi Juancho” complies (and then gets out of control)
Because nothing says “I’m a serious professional” like leaving a sold out concert and going straight to a club until 3 in the morning. That’s right, friends, Maluma – the same one who insists that we call him “Baby” – fulfilled his artistic duty for two very long hours on stage (what a sacrifice) and, like every exemplary worker, he decided that the only thing to do was… go on a party! Of course, with cap and dark glasses, because modesty is his middle name.
From the Monterrey Arena to Havana: an epic journey (1 hour)
After leaving 10 thousand souls excited (and probably deaf), the Colombian took his time—almost 60 minutes, to be exact—to escape from the premises. The reason? He was probably busy counting bills or deciding which white shirt matched best with his cap. Finally, a convoy worthy of a president (three vans and a car, because humility is conspicuous by its absence) took him to the Havana bar, where he arrived punctually at 12:34 a.m. Efficiency? No, this is show business, darlings.
Once inside, Maluma took his throne in the VIP area (as if they expected him to mingle with mortals), surrounded by security but accessible enough for fans to take photos. How generous! Between drinks, the singer even shared scoops about his next song: “It may be called ‘Vicio’ or ‘Un Polvito Más'”. Wow, what a suspense… although we assume that the title will be the least controversial thing about the song.
Toasts, air kisses and chases: the perfect after
Three hours later (because art requires endurance), the group decided it was time to leave. But not before blowing a kiss in the air and thanking Monterrey with the same energy as someone who writes “THANK YOU” in capital letters in a WhatsApp group. Of course, the farewell included a touch of drama: one of the vans in the convoy was left parked to block the reporters. Because nothing says “thank you for coming” like a spy movie gesture.
In the end, the casual but calculated outfit (white t-shirt, glasses, cap) survived the night, as did his “I know I’m irresistible” smile. And so, between toasts, photos and mysterious songs to come, Maluma demonstrated once again that the life of a star is hard… but someone has to live it.
