The reboot that we were all waiting for now has a date
Frankie Muniz, our beloved Malcolm, got up early to meet fans at La Mole 2026. And boy did he bring juicy news about ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life Still Unfair’, the miniseries that returns us to family chaos.
Who returns to the screaming house?
Muniz was not alone. He was accompanied by Carlos Díaz, Malcolm’s Latin voice during all those years. Together they confirmed what we all wanted to hear: the whole family returns. Lois, Hal, Dewey, Francis and Jamie are back.
But that’s not all. The most peculiar group of friends on television also returns. Yes, we are talking about the Krelboynes.
“In the next four episodes that you are going to see, you are going to see the return of many characters, not only the main ones, but also their old group (Krelboynes),”

Frankie Muniz revealed at the convention.
This means we could see Stevie, Dabney (Kyle Sullivan), Evan Lloyd (Matthew Cohen) and Kevin (Victor Z. Isaac) again. The band is back to compete intellectually.
A reunion that seems to have never ended
The miniseries arrives on Disney+ on April 10. Muniz promises that it preserves that chaotic family dynamic that we love so much. For him, recording was like coming home after a long time.
“Now, like 20 years later, when we came back to do the reboot, the four episodes, it was like I didn’t have time. Like when you don’t see your family for a while… but when you reconnect with them it’s like you didn’t have time,”

Frankie confessed with emotion.
The actor, who is now also a professional pilot, advanced a little of the plot. We will see Malcolm trying to leave his family past behind. Something tells us that it’s not going to be easy for him.
Nostalgia is served. We just have to wait for the premiere and get ready to shout ‘Lois!’ one more time.
