Majo Aguilar shines with his interpretation of the National Anthem in the Canelo fight

An impeccable voice stole the show on a night where the ring did not meet expectations.

The Epic Moment that Stole the Breath of Mexico

On a night where fists should be the protagonists, it was a voice that unleashed collective ecstasy. Majo Aguilar, wrapped in the elegance of a charro suit, not only sang the Mexican National Anthem: she embodied it with a passion that shook even the most skeptical. While the public waited for the blood and sweat of the ring, she delivered something more valuable: unblemished pride.

The setting was perfect for the drama. Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, the national boxing hero, defended his title against William Scull, but the promised battle was diluted in calculated blows and awkward silences. However, when the chords of the anthem rang out, Majo transformed the stadium into a sanctuary. Not a note out of place, not a word forgotten. Only the purity of an artist who, like lightning in the darkness, illuminated the night.

Social Networks in Ecstasy: The True Triumph

While experts debated the lack of action in the ring, the digital world burned with a single name: Majo Aguilar. “The only thing redeemable about this night of insipid boxing was his masterful performance,” claimed one user. Others, more forceful, threw darts at other singers: “She does sing, not like her relative…”. The comparison was inevitable, but Majo did not need contrasts: his talent spoke for itself.

“I didn’t want to go to rest without saying ‘thank you very much’… I brought this beautiful energy that it’s not me, but that you all go with me”

Her words, full of humility and emotion, revealed the secret of her success: she was not singing for herself, but for Mexico. While other artists had stumbled over the lyrics at past events, she turned the moment into an impeccable tribute. “He taught many how to sing the anthem,” echoed on the networks, sealing his place as the voice that Mexico deserves.

The image of Majo, upright and serene under the spotlight, contrasted with the bitter taste left by the fight. Irony or destiny? The ring had failed to excite, but a young woman with a musical background had achieved the impossible: uniting a country in a single silent cry of pride.

The Legacy of a Night That Will Not Be Forgotten

Beyond the fists, beyond the controversial verdict, there remained a lesson: art, when executed with discipline and heart, transcends any spectacle. Majo Aguilar not only honored the anthem; He reminded Mexico that some battles are not won with strength, but with soul. And on that night, his voice was the most powerful weapon.

“They will have to play a great game, (the Mexican team) is very solid, we are playing like never before in terms of defense, tactics, technique, there is a good job and let’s see how far it goes.”

The historic El Tri Pass

That earned him first place in the group. Their rival in the next round will come from among the best third places: Ecuador, Uruguay or Escucia are the candidates.

The duel will be played on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mexico City Stadium, formerly known as Azteca.

Loyal to the Pumas since 1991

Gael’s love for the Pumas was born in 1991, when he and his friend Diego Luna went to the CU Stadium to see the team win the championship against América. Since then he has not stopped supporting them. In the last final of the Mexican tournament, where Pumas lost to Cruz Azul, Gael recognized the merit of his rival.
