Cuban actress Livia Brito shared a difficult moment in her life during an interview on the morning show “Hoy.” With a broken voice, she revealed that she had suffered a pregnancy loss years ago, an episode that marked her path to motherhood.
“I experienced a gestational loss,” said the soap opera protagonist, who detailed the causes behind this experience.
Brito explained that she had the beginnings of endometriosis, a condition that affects her reproductive system. Furthermore, the stress accumulated at that time complicated the pregnancy. “I spent a long time doing many tests… It happened to me that I did get pregnant, but because of so much stress, I had a loss,” she commented.
The actress, now 39 years old, confessed that since she was young she dreamed of being a mother. However, after that difficult event, he made a firm decision. “Since I was little, I wanted to be a mother. I had a moment from when I was in my twenties, when I got pregnant that time, until I was 36 when I said, wow. After I was 36—right now I’m 39—it’s a process where I say: man, I don’t want to be a mom anymore,” she concluded.
This testimony resonated with many women who have gone through similar situations. Brito, recognized for her work in soap operas, showed a mature stance by prioritizing her emotional and physical well-being.
