The Health Revolution Comes to Your Door!
Imagine a world where health is not a privilege, but a right available to everyone. That world is being born in Jalisco! During the first six months of the year, heroic teams from the state Health Secretariat (SSJ) have brought 20,965 medical consultations directly to the homes of those who need it most. This is not just a number, it is a community embrace that transforms lives.
Where is this magic happening?
From vibrant neighborhoods of Zapopan, Tonalá and Guadalajara, to corners with big hearts like Acatic and Jalostotitlán, the brigades have knocked on the doors of 2,324 families. Each visit is an opportunity to sow well-being, especially in older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers who face barriers to reaching a hospital. Because health should have no borders!
More Than Consultations: A Network of Hope!
It’s not just a quick check. This program, “Medicas y Médicos de Jalisco en tu Hogar”, offers a range of services designed to take comprehensive care of you: from psychological care to nutritional counseling, including referrals to specialists when necessary. The best? 4,131 general consultations and 4,170 nursing care have already made a difference, demonstrating that preventive care saves lives.
“Each number represents a smile, a relief, an opportunity to live better,” the authorities highlight. And you, did you know that detecting early can change your future? This initiative not only heals, it empowers.
