During the presentation of the new television production, Itatí Cantoral and Mayrín Villanueva expressed their excitement at seeing their children’s careers consolidate. Eduardo Zucchi, son of Cantoral, obtains his first youth leading role in the melodrama.
Cantoral highlighted that his son’s academic training was key to joining the cast. The character requires singing and mastery of two instruments, skills that Zucchi perfected during his university and master’s studies.
Different paths, same support
The actress also shared that her other son, Roberto – 25 years old and the result of her relationship with Eduardo Santamarina – decided to take up a sporting career. He signed a contract to play soccer in Palencia, Spain, after his university years and put his profile as an engineer on hold. Cantoral stressed that the most important thing is that his three children meet their personal goals, above economic or recognition.
For her part, Mayrín Villanueva, Santamarina’s current wife, expressed the affection she has for the family. He recalled the childhood shared between Sebastián Poza – his son – and the brothers Roberto and Eduardo, describing a close coexistence based on play, which also included his daughter Romina.
Both actresses agreed that seeing young people grow professionally is a shared satisfaction. The production, written by Jaime Sierra and Helena Aguilera, promises to show youth talent on screen.
