Harry Styles adds turbo to his Mexican tour
The news has just dropped and the Mexican harries are already losing their minds. Harry Styles doesn’t come with one, not two… but with four dates confirmed in Mexico City.
The Briton announced two additional shows for August 4 and 7, adding to those already scheduled for July 31 and the 1st of the same month. The tour is called “Together, Together” and it promises to be a trip.
“This is their first album in four years, so it will resonate as something new on this tour,” says the official statement.
And context is everything. Styles will release his fourth album, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally”, on March 6. Four years is an eternity in the age of doomscrolling, so fresh material will be the heart of the show.
The luxury lineup to open the show
The cherry on the cake is the special guest: Jorja Smith. The British singer-songwriter will make Foro Sol vibrate with her fusions of soul and R&B. A lethal combo.
But not only that. The world tour will include other heavyweights such as Jamie xx, Shania Twain and even Robyn in different cities. It is a traveling festival with Harry as the headliner.
The tour is brutal: 50 dates between May and December, passing through Amsterdam, London, Melbourne and Sydney. But the curious fact is in New York: 30 nights at Madison Square Garden. Thirty. Did someone say residence?
For Latin America, Mexico and Brazil will be the only destinations. A shame for the rest of the continent, but lucky for us. Pre-sales will surely be a pitched battle. Do you already have your Ticketmaster accounts ready?
In the end, beyond the hype and the advertisements, this is an artist who evolved from the boyband phenomenon to an icon in his own right. And now he returns home (well, to our house) with new music and a production that promises to be epic.
Let the countdown begin.
