An era is breaking in northern music
Félix Salinas, the bassist who gave groove to Intocable for more than three decades, announced his departure. He did it on his networks, with a post full of gratitude and zero drama. “Today I have to take a new path,” he wrote, making it clear that there is no bad feeling with his bandmates.
But be careful: Intocable has not said a word in his official accounts. Strategic silence or are they just processing? We will see.
Why are you leaving?
Salinas did not spill the beans about the reasons. He just dropped a “this is not goodbye, but see you later.” And if you know their history, this is not new. In 1995, he also left to study, but ended up playing with Bobby Pulido instead of going to uni. Life is that unpredictable.
“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the audience and the band for their support, love and for every moment shared”
What’s coming
Fans are already shedding virtual tears and giving thanks for the years of music. The band will surely release a statement soon. But for now, Félix leaves the door open for future projects. As he says: it’s not goodbye, it’s “see you later.”
And you, can you imagine Intocable without his characteristic bass? This is just beginning.
