Fan kisses Shakira during concert in New York

An unexpected kiss between Shakira and a fan during her tour.

The moment of the kiss

During one of her concerts in New York, Shakira had an unexpected moment with a fan. The Colombian singer approached the first rows of the stadium while she performed her collaboration “Music Sessions, vol. 53” with BZRP, as part of her “Women no longer cry World Tour.”

A young woman, excited to have the artist so close, kissed her on the cheek. However, the push of other fans who also wanted to interact with Shakira caused the follower to lose her balance. His lips slid across the face of the “Pies descalzos” singer.

The singer instinctively turned her face away, but showed no discomfort. Seeing the young woman, he smiled at her and squeezed her hand before leaving. The video of the meeting spread quickly on social networks.

Divided reactions

In the comments, some users considered the fan’s reaction normal and assured that they would do the same. Others, however, expressed displeasure and pointed out that followers should respect the artists’ personal space.

Shakira gave three concerts in New York and one more in New Jersey after her participation in the World Cup final. The show’s itinerary follows the same structure throughout the tour.
