A step towards justice: the person involved in feminicide is captured
The light of justice shines in the midst of darkness! The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Oaxaca confirmed the arrest of J.D.H.T., alias “El Joshua”, identified as allegedly responsible for the terrible feminicide of Hana Ali Rosales, a woman full of talent and social commitment, who was a former beauty queen in Huajuapan de León. This case reminds us of the importance of continuing to fight for a world where gender violence has no place.
Hana’s body was found lifeless last April 24 in a home in the San Isidro Poniente neighborhood. Although they initially tried to manipulate the scene to make it believe that it was a suicide, the evidence does not lie: the truth always comes to light. The Prosecutor’s Office highlighted that there were clear indications of the participation of third parties, demonstrating that no crime goes unpunished when the community and the authorities work together.
Impeccable operation: unity is strength
That’s how it’s done! The capture of “El Joshua” was possible thanks to a coordinated effort between the Tactical Operations Group, the Navy, the National Defense, the National Guard and the Secretary of Security. This shows that, when institutions join forces, the results are overwhelming. The detainee is now at the disposal of the authorities, and will soon face the consequences of his actions.
Hana wasn’t just a former beauty queen; She was a born leader. As Register of Tourism, Culture and Sports, she dedicated her life to promoting projects that benefited her community. Mayor Alexander Osorio described her as “a great ally and friend”, whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her story inspires us to continue working for a future where women live free of violence.
This case is a call to action: we cannot normalize violence. Every arrest, every advance in justice, is a step towards the social transformation that we deserve. Let’s continue raising our voices, demanding justice and supporting those who fight for a safer world!
