New accusations in the United Kingdom
Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami on Saturday, July 18, after the United Kingdom Prosecutor’s Office filed new charges and will request their extradition. This was reported by the United States Marshals Service.
British authorities indicated that the accusations arose after receiving new evidence from Bedfordshire Police. The crimes involve four additional alleged victims and occurred between 2010 and 2017.
Andrew Tate faces seven counts of sexual assault, three of organizing or facilitating trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, three of assault and 19 offenses related to indecent images of minors and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate has one count of sexual assault, two additional counts of sexual assault and three counts of sex trafficking.
Both brothers have legal backgrounds and have been under scrutiny for years. Andrew Tate gained notoriety as a kickboxer and later as a content creator, while Tristan also participated in kickboxing and reality shows.
