The Democratic Republic of the Congo National Team looks optimistically at its return to the World Cup. The Leopards seek to demonstrate that they have the level to compete at the elite level, and dream of a historic participation in North America 2026.

On the first day, the African team rescued a valuable 1-1 draw against Portugal. It was his first point in the history of the tournament. But they are not satisfied. Now, the squad will go out to propose the match against Colombia, with the aim of taking a firm step towards the round of 16.
Aaron Tshibola, Kilmarnock FC midfielder, spoke at a press conference about the team’s preparation:

Regarding the draw with Portugal, the midfielder stated that they showed the aggressiveness in the defensive and offensive transitions that characterizes them. A vertical and dynamic style that they promise to replicate and intensify against Colombia.
