Finding of human remains in abandoned property
Members of the United Hearts Collective in Search of Our Treasures located this Sunday bone vestiges in an uninhabited property located in Colonia Romita, within the municipality of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. The group’s intervention arose after receiving anonymous complaints indicating suspicious activity in the property.
Search procedure and results
The volunteers went to the property, located at the intersection of Gorrión and Durazno streets, where they began exploration work in a planter. After excavating approximately 50 centimeters, they identified a lifeless body in a state of decomposition. During the process, they detected signs of a second body in another area of the property, which increased the complexity of the case.
The competent authorities, including the Jalisciense Institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF), took control of the site to carry out an exhaustive analysis and rule out the presence of more victims. The perimeter was cordoned as part of the evidence preservation protocol.
