The death of singer Oliver Tree in a plane crash in Brazil has generated multiple reactions on social networks. While the authorities investigate the accident that left six people dead, hundreds of users analyze old videos and photos of the artist, convinced that some images anticipated what happened.

Theories that emerged in networks

One of the most talked about content is the video clip for “Flowers”. In one scene, Tree appears as a pilot between two nearby helicopters. For many Internet users, this image is similar to the air collision reported in Brazil. Furthermore, in another shot the artist cleans an aircraft with the number six, a figure that coincides with the total number of deceased people.

Another detail that has caught attention is the cover of his album “Ugly Is Beautiful” (2020). In it, Tree holds balloons in front of a structure surrounded by flames. After hearing the news, some linked that image with reports that one of the aircraft ended up in flames after the impact. However, there is no information to support these claims; They are just user interpretations.

Details of the accident

The incident occurred on June 14 in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. Two helicopters collided while flying over the western coast of Brazil. The aircraft fell on an electric vehicle dealership, causing material damage and the loss of six people: Oliver Tree, the Argentine content creator Gaspi, the audiovisual director Lucas Vignale, and three other people who were traveling in the helicopters.

The American artist had arrived in Brazil as part of his international tour “Love You Madly Hate Your Badly Oliver Tree World’s First World Tour.” He showed up in São Paulo and decided to stay a few more days to visit other cities. Their next concert was scheduled for July 1 in Portugal.

Dr. Simi’s farewell to Oliver Tree

Through social networks, the popular character from Farmacias Similares shared a farewell message for the influencer, accompanied by a video where both appear together during a previous collaboration.

In the publication, the beloved Mexican character recalled that what began as a professional coincidence became a special friendship. “You take a part of the heart of Mexico and this team. Goodbye, Oliver,” he wrote.

The official account of Farmacias del Dr. Simi Chile also joined the tribute with a photograph of Oliver hugging the character. Along with the image, they deeply regretted his departure:

“Today we remember him fondly for the joy, energy and authenticity that he transmitted to so many people around the world.”

They also sent solidarity to family, friends and followers.
