Three BTS concerts in CDMX brought together 150 thousand fans. Numens, details and tributes to Mexico.

BTS in CDMX: three historic concerts for the Mexican Army

Three BTS performances at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City attracted more than 150,000 followers. The dates, which are part of their international tour, paralyzed—in a good way—the capital and left unique moments.

Fans from all over the country, including a large group from Reynosa, fulfilled the dream of seeing RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook live. The seven members caused a wave of enthusiasm at each show.

The Korean group did not skimp on gestures towards local culture. J-Hope wore gloves with the colors of the Mexican flag; Jin wore the Mystic fighter’s jacket; and V was seen eating banderilla and cotton candy. Additionally, dancers wore wrestler masks and performers addressed the audience in Spanish at various times.

One of the most emotional moments occurred during the song “IDOL.” The members came down from the main stage and, to the rhythm of the extended instrumental, toured the surroundings of the stadium. This direct approach with the public was chanted by thousands of voices.

There were three unprecedented shows in the country, with attendees not only from Mexico but also from abroad. Logistics and security were reinforced in the area, although no serious incidents were reported. The experience will remain engraved in the memory of the Armys who lived those days in the capital.

The young woman from Nuevo Laredo will compete for the national crown on August 6 in Guadalajara.

A new ambassador for Tamaulipas

Daniela Rueda Muñoz, originally from Nuevo Laredo, was officially presented as the representative of Tamaulipas in the Mexicana Universal 2026 pageant. The announcement was made by Jesús Muñoz, state director of the organization, during a press conference.

More than a beauty contest

Mexicana Universal, formerly known as Nuestra Belleza México, is led by Lupita Jones. The platform selects representatives for international pageants such as Miss Grand International, Miss International and Reina Hispanoamericana. But its focus goes beyond physical appearance: it promotes female empowerment, human development and the professional projection of the participants.

“It is a unique experience. They prepare you in all aspects, not only physically, but also mentally and intellectually,” said Rueda Muñoz.

The contestant admitted feeling nervous about the proximity of the competition, but also great excitement about living with the other candidates. “My expectations are very high. This contest endorsed by Lupita Jones is an unparalleled experience for me,” he added.

Social project and leadership

As part of her preparation, Daniela is taking a diploma in image, personal projection and leadership. Her social project focuses on motivating women to pursue their goals. “I never imagined becoming a beauty representative; as a child I had other plans, but life took me down this path,” she said.

Lupita Jones’ organization promotes comprehensive preparation in communication, emotional intelligence and leadership. Daniela will seek to bring the crown to Tamaulipas next August 6.
