With the aim of strengthening ties of collaboration with rural producers, the Agricultural Development Directorate participated in the Annual Assembly of the Local Livestock Association, attending the invitation of its board.
Representing Mayor Modesto Velázquez Toral, the director of Agricultural Development, engineer Marcelino Bustos Castillo, attended the meeting, where ranchers from the region presented recognition to Mrs. Carmita Manterola, for her outstanding career and the valuable contributions made to livestock farming in Veracruz and the country.
During his speech, the municipal official expressed a message of support for said recognition on behalf of the Municipal Government, and reiterated the commitment to maintain a relationship of permanent linkage and coordination with the associations and productive groups of the Martinense countryside.
Authorities highlighted that this type of meeting strengthens joint work to promote the development of the agricultural sector and recognize those who have contributed significantly to the growth of livestock activity in the region.
