The singer Alejandra Guzmán publicly acknowledged that the information she had shared about an alleged pregnancy of her daughter, Frida Sofía, turned out to be false. The interpreter offered a direct apology to her daughter to prevent the issue from escalating.
In statements to the media, Guzmán explained that it was Frida who contacted her to clarify the situation.
“She called me and told me that she was not pregnant and I was listening to a very gossipy friend. That’s when I realized that I shouldn’t talk, because I don’t like people talking about me,” said the artist.
After learning the truth, Guzmán decided to apologize.
“So I apologized and that was it,” she commented, although she admitted that the idea of becoming a grandmother excited her. “I was deceived, but nothing happened,” she added, laughing.
The pop rock singer reflected on the importance of confirming information before spreading it. This experience left him a personal lesson, he said.
Guzmán also expressed his desire to continue improving his relationship with his daughter, marked by family differences in recent years.
“The problems will be resolved over time. I have to give time to time,” said the interpreter, leaving open the possibility of strengthening the bond.
