The singer faces new medical challenges as she recovers from recent surgery.

Alejandra Guzmán faces new health challenges

The iconic singer Alejandra Guzmán is going through a critical moment in her physical well-being. After postponing her Brilla Tour until 2026 due to medical recommendation, the 57-year-old artist has revealed details about her state of health, including a recent diagnosis of high blood pressure and a surgical intervention to extract synovial fluid.

Medical intervention and complications

During an appearance on the program Venga la Alegría, Guzmán confirmed that he underwent a procedure to remove synovial fluid, an essential substance that lubricates the joints and prevents bone wear. This fluid, composed mainly of hyaluronic acid, acts as a natural shock absorber in the joints. Its extraction suggests possible inflammatory or arthritic complications derived from previous surgeries.

The one also known as “The Queen of Rock” declared: “They removed my synovial fluid and many things, and I am hypertensive,”, before leaving the scene. High blood pressure, a condition you now face, carries significant cardiovascular risks when not adequately controlled, especially in patients with a complex medical history like yours.

Medical history and persistent challenges

Silvia Pinal’s daughter accumulates an extensive medical file. In 2013 he required a titanium prosthesis in his hip due to the deterioration caused by decades of artistic activity and the consequences of the biopolymers injected years ago. These substances, used for aesthetic purposes, generated severe complications that led to multiple reconstructive surgeries.

In her statement on July 24, the Mírala, Míralo interpreter explained: “This decision [to cancel the tour] has not been easy, but it is necessary to guarantee that when she returns she can do so with the energy and quality they deserve.” The message highlights his commitment to a comprehensive recovery before resuming his professional activities.

Joint health experts highlight that the extraction of synovial fluid usually indicates advanced inflammatory processes or infections. When combined with hypertension, as in this case, therapeutic management requires multidisciplinary supervision to avoid collateral damage to the kidneys or cardiovascular system.

Future perspectives

The announcement has generated concern among his followers, who are aware of his trajectory of medical resilience. The music industry is watching this chapter carefully, as the Brilla Tour represents one of the most ambitious projects of its recent career.

Doctors consulted emphasize that controlling hypertension through medication, diet and stress reduction will be key to rehabilitation. At the same time, joint recovery will require specialized physical therapies to regain mobility without compromising the existing prosthesis.

Regarding the final separation in 2024, Levy acknowledged that it was a complicated moment. “My separation, because of everything that happened, was a very difficult moment,” he said. He clarified that the distribution of assets did not represent a problem for him, because he knows that purchasing power does not define a person.
