Yolanda Andrade breaks the silence: pain and complaints from her bed
The host of Montse & Joe, Yolanda Andrade, did not remain silent. From his home, where he battles ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), he released a message that hurts and moves. Crying in front of her cell phone camera, she sang the truths to everyone: government, authorities, president.
“Where is justice? Where is the government?” she asked through tears. “They don’t think about the hearts of those desperate mothers.” And Yolanda is sensitive—and rightly so. His illness has given him a brutal perspective on what matters.
Directly to the president: “Take out your claws”
The 54-year-old from Monterrey did not mince words. He spoke directly to Claudia Sheinbaum:
“Madam President Claudia Sheinbaum… put on your pants. Yes, as women, because we are more than other bastards. Get your claws out.”
He also asked the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, to reopen the case of the three missing people from the villas—a case in which his half-brother Romel Andrade is involved.
A country that hurts: “We cannot be the generation of shame”
Yolanda confessed that she is going to die with this sadness if we do not see change. But he doesn’t give up:
“Mexicans, come on, please, everyone. Let’s take care of our house… We cannot be the generation of shame.”
A heartbreaking call from the heart of someone who knows that time is ticking. She said it clearly: “I was overcome with emotion because we cannot allow this.”
