Scholarship delivery in Aguascalientes
During her tour of Aguascalientes, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo handed out cards from the Rita Cetina universal scholarship. This support, intended for public primary school students in the country, covers school supplies and uniforms. Sheinbaum highlighted that education and child welfare are priorities of his government.
She was accompanied by Governor María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel, Secretary of Welfare Leticia Ramírez Amaya, Undersecretary of Basic Education Angélica Noemí Juárez Pérez and the national coordinator of Scholarships for Wellbeing, Julio César León Trujillo.
Coexistence with inclusive teams in San Luis Potosí
In San Luis Potosí, the president lived with the “Tuneros”, champions of the T21 Cup, a soccer tournament for people with Down syndrome. She also met the “Leonas” team from the Polytechnic University, second place in the 2026 Women’s Futsal tournament promoted by the IMSS. Sheinbaum recognized the efforts of young people with Down syndrome and university athletes.
Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, Secretary of Welfare Leticia Ramírez Amaya and the general director of the IMSS, Zoé Robledo Aburto, were present.
