High dives! Mexico takes the podium in China
The Mexican duo of Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya once again demonstrated that perseverance and teamwork are the formula for success. With an impeccable routine on the three-meter springboard, they won the silver medal in the World Cup Super Final, held in the emblematic Beijing Water Cube.
Six jumps, 420.57 points and a performance that made it clear why they are world leaders. “We always look for gold. We knew we could get the silver medal in the last dive and we went for it with a lot of concentration. Ma Jin is doing a great job,” commented Olvera, with emotion on the surface.

The road to the podium
Only the Chinese duo, supported by their audience, surpassed them with 460.68 points. Great Britain completed the podium with 406.20. But for Mexico, this silver tastes like victory: it is the country’s first medal in this Super Final, and it comes in a scenario of maximum pressure.
Best of all, this is no fluke. Olvera and Celaya have already been building a history of discipline and improvement. Each dive was a message: Mexican talent continues to write its legacy at the heights of international sport.
This is how dreams are built: with work, focus and heart. Congratulations, champions!
