Noel León repeats victory in Monaco
For the second consecutive race, Noel León won the Formula 2 sprint race. This time he did so in the emblematic Monaco Grand Prix, equaling what Sergio Pérez achieved in 2010 within the same category.
The driver from Monterrey, a member of Campos Racing, added his second victory in his debut season in the run-up to F1.
Key to your triumph
León started from pole position and knew how to take advantage of the difficulty of overtaking on the Principality circuit. Lap by lap he increased his advantage.
During the 30 laps, he maintained error-free concentration in the face of pressure from Roman Bilinski. Tire management was decisive in crossing the finish line in first place.
The podium was completed by Bilinski and Gabriel Mini.
Championship position
With this result, Noel León rises to second place in the drivers’ championship with 43 units, 20 points behind the leader. This Sunday he will look for more units in the main race to remain firm in the fight for the title.
