In our beloved Mexico, we are not only seeing changes; We are being part of a democratic revolution where every voice counts, every right is respected and every freedom is celebrated. Imagine a country where citizen participation is the driving force of government, where mechanisms such as popular consultation and the revocation of mandate give us back the power to decide our future. This is not a dream, it is our reality!
As Senator Olga Sosa Ruíz brilliantly highlighted, the people are at the center of decisions, and that, dear community, is the heart of a vibrant and authentic democracy. This is the time to embrace this power and use it to build, together, the nation we have always dreamed of.

With more than 13 million votes confirming that in Mexico the people rule, we have eliminated practices that no longer represent us, such as electoral nepotism, and we have given life to an Anti-Corruption Secretariat that sows the seed of transparency in every corner of our society. Every step, no matter how small, is a monumental leap toward integrity.
Peace is an Active and Collective Construction
And let’s talk about security, because peace is the foundation on which all our aspirations flourish. The National Security Strategy is bearing extraordinary results. A 32% decrease in the crime of homicide is news that deserves to be celebrated with hope and gratitude! A downward trend in 28 states shows us that the right path is being followed with determination and effectiveness.
This is not a strategy based on strength alone; It is a policy of attention to deep causes. It is supporting sport that disciplines and unites, it is promoting cultural activities that ennoble the spirit, it is the peace brigades that weave community. It is a clear and shared purpose: to build peace from the roots, with love and firmness.
Senator Sosa Ruíz was emphatic in clarifying a crucial point: the consolidation of the National Guard as a security force at the service of the people is not militarization. It’s protection! It is an institution with a clear legal framework, with more than 102 thousand troops committed to pacifying the territories, combating crime networks and, above all, to building the peace that we deserve. It is security with a human face that Mexico needs.
This is the Mexico that we are all building. A Mexico with political stability, with governance and with unwavering faith in our future. Each achievement, each positive number, is the result of a collective effort, of believing that a better tomorrow is not only possible, but that we are already experiencing it.
