The death of the mother of the actor and singer is reported

On Thursday afternoon the news spread: Mrs. María del Carmen Arruza, mother of the Capetillo brothers, had died. The information came through a public condolence from sports journalist Heriberto Murrieta.

So far, neither Eduardo Capetillo nor other family members have confirmed or denied the information. A silence that keeps the world of entertainment in suspense.

Murrieta wrote on his X account: “I deeply regret the death of my dear friend Mari Carmen Vázquez, mother of the rejoneador Carlos Arruza, the matador Manolo Arruza and the actor Eduardo Capetillo.”

The mother who described him as ‘the precious child’

Doña Mari Carmen was known for being the wife of the bullfighter Eduardo Capetillo Villaseñor and, of course, for being the mother of Eduardo Capetillo. In a 1994 interview he revealed endearing details about the actor’s birth.

“The birth was quite good, I was conscious, I remember that when he was born and the doctor gave him to me, he told me ‘you have had a beautiful child, ma’am’, I think he was the only one of my children with whom I have cried with pleasure, with happiness,” she said.

It wasn’t just his favorite. She also remembered how her friends pressured her to take the little boy to castings because of his beauty. “My friends told me why don’t I take him to advertise a food, because he was a very cute, very tender child.”

A memory that resonates more strongly today while waiting for the official word from the family.

William Levy: I feared losing my children after separation

William Levy confessed his fear of losing his children after the separation.

William Levy spoke openly about the difficult separation process from Elizabeth Álvarez, his wife of more than 21 years. The Cuban actor was the first guest of the program “El show de Paz”, hosted by Paz Padilla, where he answered personal questions from the public.

The fear of losing your children

Levy admitted that, during the family transition, her biggest concern was not material goods, but the possibility of distancing herself from her two children. “I’m not afraid of losing anything, other than my children and my family; material things don’t interest me, I was born with nothing,” he declared.

The actor has a 20-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter. Over time, he confirmed that the bond with them strengthened. “At that moment, you worry about losing your family, losing people who are valuable to you or losing yourself. Thank God, that hasn’t been the case,” he added.

Regarding the final separation in 2024, Levy acknowledged that it was a complicated moment. “My separation, because of everything that happened, was a very difficult moment,” he said. He clarified that the distribution of assets did not represent a problem for him, because he knows that purchasing power does not define a person.

Despite initial fears, today she celebrates that her closeness with her children has been maintained and even increased after the end of her marriage to Álvarez.
