‘Buki’ comes home for mom
Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla has just dropped the bomb: Marco Antonio Solís returns to Morelia. And it won’t be just any date. Next May 9, just for Mother’s Day, ‘Buki’ will sing to all the mothers of Michoacan.
The concert is part of the Jalo 2026 Festival and the best thing: it will be completely free. This was confirmed by the state president. The event is at 9:00 p.m. at the Morelos Stadium.
“In the coming days, the dynamics for redeeming entry tickets will be announced, which, as in previous years, will be in support of some sector of the population,” added Ramírez Bedolla.
Support with rhythm
This edition of the festival has a special purpose. The governor announced that it will be dedicated to supporting single mothers in the state. The idea is clear: provide social support while boosting the local economy and tourism.
And be careful, because it will not be just Marco Antonio. The Jalo Festival has already brought heavyweights like Carín León, Chayanne, Alejandro Sanz and even legendary bands like Caifanes and Molotov. A promising lineup.
So you know: free music, a noble cause and the return of an icon. Morelia is preparing to vibrate with the hits of ‘Buki’. Michoacan moms have a guaranteed appointment.
