The end of a stage

Flor Rubio announced the closure of her program Dulce y picosito on YouTube, after more than two years on the air. The decision was made after recognizing tensions between drivers.

During the last broadcast, on June 23, the Mexican journalist, along with Analú Salazar, Joel O’Farril, Gabo Cuevas and Carlo Curiel, said goodbye to the audience. Rubio explained that although a recent video with a strong discussion could have generated more views and earnings, it was not the right way to continue.

“We didn’t lie to you when we told you that we were a family, that we were a team… it’s just that life has cycles. You have witnessed complicated moments, totally human disagreements,” he expressed.

The host of Venga la salud pointed out that the latest disagreement between Gabo Cuevas and Carlo Curiel sparked the conversation about ending the project. “We have tried to resolve it. The last problem between Gabriel and Carlo triggered this decision,” he said.

The drivers also took the floor to say goodbye without hard feelings. Cuevas told Curiel: “In my heart there is no resentment or ill will towards you. I know that you are a child who wants to take on the world.” Curiel responded: “There are no heroes or villains, there is no one to blame. We are a team. Everyone has their struggles. The important thing is to keep what is beautiful.”

With these words, the channel came to an end, making it clear that, despite the conflicts, the affection between the team prevailed until the last moment.

Singer Lionel Richie experienced a difficult moment at the start of his new tour with Earth, Wind & Fire. During the first concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, he had to cancel the performance due to physical discomfort.
