Hypnotist John Milton is robbed of his vehicle in a violent incident
The renowned hypnotist John Milton, widely known in the entertainment industry as The Knight of Hypnosis, was the victim of a violent assault last Tuesday afternoon while traveling along the Culiacan-Eldorado highway in the state of Sinaloa. The artist, 55 years old and son of the legendary Brazilian hypnotist Taurus do Brasil, was traveling accompanied by his wife Rocío and a close friend when his 2025 model white Cadillac van was intercepted by an armed commando.
The event, described by Milton himself as traumatic and disturbing, occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. when between four and five individuals armed with high-powered rifles and pistols blocked the passage of the vehicle and proceeded to point their guns at its occupants. Milton precisely described the moments of tension in which he tried to mediate with the aggressors, who responded with shots into the air and the ground as a measure of intimidation, forcing the immediate surrender of the car.
Rapid recovery and call for social reflection
After the immediate report to the Secretary of Public Security, the authorities began an operation that resulted in the recovery of the vehicle in less than five hours, as confirmed by the artist himself. The unit had only minor damage and superficial dents, and most of the personal belongings were returned to their rightful owners. Milton expressed his explicit gratitude to the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, as well as the State Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministerial Police for their efficient response.
The incident, which could have ended in tragedy, led the hypnotist to carry out a deep reflection on the security situation in Mexico. From his perspective as a direct victim of crime, Milton made a strong call to Mexican society to generate collective awareness about shared responsibility in building a safer country. He criticized the social tendency to make quick judgments about public figures while minimizing structural problems such as armed violence and organized crime.
The artist emphasized the need to recover moral values and ethical principles in family education, pointing out the progressive loss of basic norms of coexistence and respect. He proposed the creation of a positive social movement that counteracts polarization and digital hatred, instead encouraging citizen unity to face the security challenges that affect the country. Milton concluded his statement by highlighting his gratitude for coming out of the incident alive and his commitment to continue with his scheduled work tour in Tepic.
