Gloria Trevi changes the stage for a sanctuary
It seems that even rock divas need a break from the tour to recharge their batteries and, who would have thought, do religious tourism. Gloria Trevi herself, our eternal rebel, decided that the most ‘mainstream’ thing of the moment was to take a tour of Tamaulipas. Not for a massive concert, but for a family photo session with which he surely broke the Instagram algorithm. The main destination: the monumental Virgen de El Chorrito, a work under construction that promises to be the new spiritual ‘influencer’ of the region.
In a video that she shared with her followers, the “All Me Miran” singer appeared in total relaxed mode, accompanied by her father, Manuel Treviño, and her son, Ángel Gabriel (because obviously, with a name like that, a visit to a sacred site was almost mandatory). They toured the religious center located in the municipality of Hidalgo, demonstrating that even pop icons have their moments of peace and meditation… well documented for the networks, of course.
Faith, family and… a cameo from the mother-in-law?
The artist could not contain her amazement when she saw the pieces of the colossal Marian sculpture. In a burst of pure northern enthusiasm, he exclaimed: “Long live Tamaulipas and long live Victoria! How beautiful you are. We visited a beautiful sculpture of the Virgin there in El Chorrito and we ate delicious.” Because at the end of the day, every spiritual pilgrimage is crowned with some good tacos, that is the unwritten law.
But this went beyond a simple walk. Trevi became philosophical and gave us a millennial lecture on toxic productivity: “No matter how busy we are… we must always prioritize living and creating moments that fill the heart. You never know how much time we have left to dream and enjoy.” Basically, she reminded us that ‘carpe diem’ is the new black, and that even she, with her diva schedule, makes time for what is truly important: family content.
He shared a little piece of coexistence with his father and his son, highlighting how nice it was to see “grandfather and grandson create new memories.” The gathering also included his sister, his nieces, and Lety (whose exact parentage became the most intriguing mystery of the day, because every family has a character like that).
And don’t think that the visit was just to take pretty photos. The singer also had a gesture of recognition for the true anonymous heroes: the workers who are assembling the enormous pieces of religious sculpture. He congratulated them for their work, making their trip not only a family retreat, but also an act of appreciation for the collective effort that is giving life to this new symbol of devotion in the region. Because supporting art, whether it’s a pop hit or a monumental virgin, is always in style.
