Before being the reggaeton icon he is today, Salomón Villada—known as Feid—built his career away from the spotlight. He spent years writing songs for other artists, such as “Ginza”, “I’m still missing you” and “Gucci los cloths”. That stage as a composer was the foundation of a success that today leads him to share credits with Madonna.
From the shadows to the global stage
Feid studied music in Medellín and little by little made his way into the industry. While helping others shine, he developed his own project. Thus a different identity was born within the urban genre. Albums like Happy birthday Ferxxo we pirate the album, Mor, don’t be afraid of the darkness and Ferxxocalipsis led him to headline festivals and attract the attention of legends like Madonna.
The collaboration is part of Confessions II, the album with which the queen of pop returns after seven years of silence. But it’s not all. Feid will also be linked to the 2026 World Cup. His song with Madonna, “Read My Lips”, appears on a special edition of the official World Cup album. There are versions that place it in the halftime show of the final.
The show will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. If his participation is confirmed, Feid will share the stage with Madonna, Shakira and BTS before a global audience.
