The British actor Owain Rhys Davies, recognized for his role in the series Twin Peaks, died at the age of 44. His brother, Rhodri Davies, confirmed the news on social media and explained that the loss occurred suddenly.
“He passed away suddenly, naturally and peacefully,” Rhodri wrote. Although he assured that the causes seem natural, he added that there are still unclarified aspects about the circumstances.
Davies played Agent Wilson in the 2017 return of Twin Peaks, the iconic series from David Lynch and Mark Frost. He also participated in productions such as The OA (Netflix), Alice Through the Looking Glass and A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life. His career spanned genres such as mystery, fantasy and science fiction.
